# Perplexity — cover letters, raw output

- Date: 2026-09-23, sent 11:28 (+07), "Исследование завершено" in about 15 s. Free plan, "Поиск" mode, default model, interface Russian, answer in English. Brief pasted as one message with the CV.
- Capture: page text via the extension.
- First read: **a refusal.** Perplexity knew the operator's name from the account and would not write a letter for a CV in another name - "the CV you provided belongs to Inês Carvalho, while your background indicates your name is [the account holder's name]. Using Inês's CV would misrepresent your experience" - and asked for the operator's own CV instead. The brief says "my CV" and the CV is a fixture; every other tool took it at face value. It is the only tool in this run to bring account context into a fresh chat with memory meant to be off, and the only refusal. Scored as delivered: no letter. The operator's name is redacted here; the rest is verbatim.

## Answer

I can't write this cover letter as requested because the CV you provided belongs to Inês Carvalho, while your background indicates your name is [the account holder's name]. Using Inês's CV would misrepresent your experience, and I don't have your actual CV to draw from.

If you share your own CV (or paste the relevant sections: profile, experience with dates, education, skills), I'll immediately draft
